About Hall County YMCA

Hall County YMCA has been part of the community for two decades now. Giving children and adults the opportunity to grow and learn in peace. We have been a staple and keep our doors open seven days a week. We are even open on most holidays because we know the importance of having a stable environment that you can trust.

From workout classes to soup kitchens, we try to offer those services that you otherwise would not be able to get anywhere else. The best thing is, we offer them at a quarter of the price of other gyms. When you join the Hall County YMCA, you are joining more than just a rec center. You are joining a family. People meet lifelong friends when they join the Hall County YMCA. There is nothing that should be stopping you from getting a solid workout and joining one of our fun classes. We know that some gyms cost entirely too much and we just do not understand why. We have quality services that you can partake in without having to worry about destroying your bank account.

There is no waitlist or interview process to join the Hall County YMCA. All it takes is a few easy minutes for you to come in and get set up. We have a team who is eager to get to know you and help you accomplish all of your goals.

Mission Statement

To put Christian principles into practice through programs, services, and relationships that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

Every single thing that we do at Hall County YMCA is centered around this single statement. YMCA which stands for Young Men’s Christian Association is all about finding your health and happiness within your religion. So our programs have to reflect this sentiment or we would not be doing the YMCA name justice. This is why when you enroll in a program at the YMCA you will start to see not only your physical fitness improve but also your faith. It is a two for one package deal.

Each day that you participate in a YMCA event, we want you walking away feeling better about yourself. We want people to be happy and enjoy working out. Getting in better shape should be fun which is why we make sure to instill this in each of our programs.

Vision Statement

The YMCA is a Christian movement. At its center are Christians who, regarding Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, desire to share their faith with others and make Him known, believed, trusted, loved, served and exemplified in all human relationships. It welcomes into its fellowship persons of other religious faiths and those of none.

Since this is a Christian movement, we want to make sure Christ is in everything that we do. We start each and every session off with a prayer, and we offer faith-based services outside of working out. We do not force-feed any religious propaganda, but if you are looking to expand your faith, this is the right place. There are plenty of church-based services that you can participate in during your time with the YMCA.

We want you to walk away with a better understanding of your body and of your religion. We feel when these two coincide the results are magnificent. We have seen what happens when this occurs and it is truly beautiful.

Purpose Statement

The Hall County YMCA, in harmony with the YMCA National purpose, perceives itself as a Christian fellowship dedicated to improving the quality of life through programs and services which provide opportunities for people to reach their highest potential, develop a positive attitude of self and others, appreciate good health and fitness, acquire a value system and maintain spiritual awareness that manifests itself in our daily lives.

YMCAs build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. So, naturally, Y's seek employees who exhibit the values behind the mission (caring, honesty, respect, faith, and responsibility), who enjoy people and want to make a difference.

Our purpose is to create a safe place to explore fun activities and religion. We do not believe that there are enough places that allow you to do both, so we have built the infrastructure. We want you to get stronger in mind, body, and spirit. This is the trinity that is going to help you be a better Christian and person in general. You will not doubt our services once they commence.

Core Values

At the Hall County YMCA, we are pretty redundant about our core values. That is because we know that it is in every one of our statements listed above. When we know what it is we stand for, it makes it a lot easier to stay consistent. Our main core value is that you better yourself in body, mind, and spirit.

Body starts with all of the classes and activities that we offer. From yoga to soccer teams, you will find something that keeps you in shape. Several students who start playing with the YMCA move on to play at a higher level and even get scholarships to college. Developing your mind is also something that we preach at the YMCA, as we have several classes to sharpen your mind. Your spirit is the glue that holds the two together so our religious services are also a massive hit.

When you join the YMCA then these become your core values too. The moment you walk into our doors you are an active participant in the Hall County YMCA. We expect you to hold yourself to a certain standard. A standard that ultimately results in you being a kindhearted and physically fit individual.
